How does the random team generator work?
Whimivo first shuffles every input line, then deals the shuffled entries across the requested number of teams. Team sizes differ by no more than one person whenever an exact split is impossible.
The generator balances team size only. It does not know participants’ skill, role, age, or other attributes. If those factors matter, review the result and make any necessary adjustments.

How many people and teams can I use?
You can add 2 to 500 entries and create between 2 and 20 teams.
Will every team have the same number of people?
When possible, yes. Otherwise, team sizes differ by at most one person.
Can I choose people per team instead?
Yes. Select People per team and enter the maximum preferred team size. The generator calculates the required number of teams.
Does this balance skills or experience?
No. It balances the number of entries only because Whimivo does not collect participant attributes.
Are participant names uploaded?
No. Names and team results remain in the browser tab and are not sent to Whimivo.
