How are dates selected?

Whimivo converts the inclusive date range into whole UTC calendar days and selects one day index. Using day indexes avoids time-of-day and daylight-saving shifts.

When Weekdays only is enabled, weekend dates are rejected and another secure day is selected until a Monday-through-Friday date is found.

Frequently asked questions

Are the start and end dates included?

Yes. The range is inclusive of both boundary dates.

Does Weekdays only exclude holidays?

No. It excludes Saturday and Sunday only because public holidays vary by place.

Why use UTC calendar days?

UTC day indexes prevent daylight-saving and time-zone offsets from changing the chosen date.

Are my dates saved?

No. Inputs and recent results stay in the current tab.
